BAKED CINNAMON APPLE CHIPS

A perfect , easy to make, healthy snack and made with just two ingredients


INGREDIENTS

Makes about 28 chips

Baking time : 2 hours


1 Gala or Fuji apple

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS


Heat the oven to 100 degree C. Prepare two large baking tray with parchment paper.


Stir together cinnamon powder and brown sugar, if being used, and set aside.


Using a sharp knife, slice apples thinly and remove the seeds. The thinner the slice, the crispier the chips.


Place the slices in a single layer on the prepared tray. Sprinkle half the mixture onto the apple slices. Bake for 1 hour.


Now flip the slices and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar. Bake for another 1 hour.


Once done, leave the baked apple slices in the oven itself for approx. an hour to crisp and cool . Enjoy and store them in an airtight container.
