A dessert-style pizza that is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside and topped with almonds and M&Ms. A perfect treat for chocolate lovers and kids !
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter , softened at room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
for Topping :
1 cup chocolate chips or grated chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup almonds, chopped
1/2 cup M&M's chocolate candies
Grated white chocolate baking bars, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 180° C and prepare a pizza tray. In a mixing bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla essence and egg until well blended. Stir in flour and baking soda. Mix well using a handheld or stand mixer
Pat dough in a pizza pan evenly. Bake this base for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let this cool completely.
In a saucepan, heat grated chocolate or chips, butter and milk over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted. Once done, remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth, glossy and spreadable.
Spread this chocolate spread over baked pizza layer. Sprinkle with almonds and candies and press lightly. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and let it stand until set.
Remove from pan and cut into wedges.
