An ultimate treat made with fresh apples, melted chocolate, homemade caramel sauce and topped with almonds. Kids would love these healthy pops and would love making them too.
INGREDIENTS
Makes about 6 slices
1 gala or Fuji Apple , sliced into 1/2" slices
Milk chocolate, chopped into pieces
1 tbsp. coconut oil
Homemade caramel

1/2 c. chopped and toasted almonds
Flaky sea salt
6 popsicle sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare a large baking tray with parchment paper.
Make a small incision in the bottom of the apple slices using a knife and insert the popsicle sticks.
Melt the chocolate using the double boiler method or in a microwave and stir in the coconut oil .
Now dip the apple slices into the melted chocolate and place them on prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with caramel, sprinkle with sea salt and chopped almond bits. Place these refrigerator to harden for about 10 minutes.
