Unbelievably addictive dark chocolate covered almonds that you can make them at home with just 3 ingredients. These are easy to make and a crunchy perfect indulgent midday snack.
INGREDIENTS
1 and 1/2 cups whole almonds (raw and unsalted)
High quality dark chocolate
Rock salt
Any coarse sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
Spread the almonds on the baking sheet and bake them at 150 degree for 20 minutes. tossing them every 5 minutes. Let the almonds cool a bit and set aside.
Now melt the chocolate in a double boiler or use the microwave until completely melted and smooth.
Stir the almonds into the chocolate, making sure to coat each one. Using a dipping tool or a fork, lift the almonds out of the chocolate one by one and place onto a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining almonds.
Sprinkle almonds with a little sea salt and sugar, then allow chocolate to completely set by placing them in the refrigerator. Enjoy !
