HOMEMADE SALTED CARAMEL

A salty, sweet and buttery caramel sauce that is super easy and quick to make.


INGREDIENTS


1 cup powdered sugar

6 Tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup cream ( I used fresh cream)

1 teaspoon salt


INSTRUCTIONS


Heat sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly with a spatula or wooden spoon till it has melted into a thick brown liquid. Once sugar is completely melted, immediately add the butter.


Stir the butter into the caramel until it is completely melted into a light caramel color. Very slowly pour in cream while stirring. and boil for a minute.


Remove from heat and stir in salt. Allow to slightly cool down and pour into a clean glass container. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove before using as it will solidify once cooled.



These are the one I made the second them. Very addictive !!!
