Amazing chocolate cake that will melt on your plate and is incredibly easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup unsalted butter , plus more to grease muffin tray
6 oz milk chocolate grated or chopped
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Cocoa powder for dusting
INSTRUCTIONS
Grease 6 ramekins or a muffin tray with butter and dust inside with cocoa powder, tapping out excess. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.
Melt and blend grated chocolate and butter either on stove or in a microwave until smooth and set aside.
In another mixing bowl, combine eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt and beat this mixture with a hand mixer or stand mixer until the mixture is thick and light yellow.
Pour warm chocolate butter mixture into this egg mixture, Fold this until combined. Lastly add the flour and fold until fully incorporated. The batter will be slightly thick.
Spoon chocolate batter evenly into the ramekins or the tray and bake for 8-10 minutes until sides appear solid and firm and the top look soft.
Allow to cool for 1 minute, then cover each with an inverted plate and turn over. Serve immediately. Top this with powdered sugar or ice cream.
