NO-YEAST MILK BREAD

This No-Yeast Bread is a perfect and easy recipe for a quick bread in a hurry. It is delicious plain or even toasted.



INGREDIENTS


3 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons oil (any vegetable oil )

1 ¼ cup whole milk

1 egg yolk optional



INSTRUCTIONS


Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter or line with parchment paper and set aside.


Mix the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.


In a saucepan, over low heat, whisk oil and milk until they mix well. Ensure that the milk mixture is not too hot.


Stir in the milk mixture to the mixing bowl and whisk the ingredients until the milk is mixed with with flour and forms a dough using either a hand mixer or a stand mixer.


Turn the dough out onto a work surface and knead until the the dough should not be sticky but it should be soft.


Heat the oven to 190°C .


Shape the dough into a loaf and place it into the loaf pan. Brush the top with egg yolk.

Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
