Quick and easy to make cookies that are soft, chewy and perfectly sweet.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened at room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg white
1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 180 degree C and prepare two baking trays using parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Next add in the egg white and vanilla essence. Whisk this well using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Add the flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
Place this on a flat surface and roll the dough out until it is 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter and cut out circles. Transfer this to the prepared tray or pan.
Bake this for about 10 minutes and transfer to a rack to cool completely.
Enjoy ! You can decorate with your favorite frosting.
