THIN CRUST THREE CHEESE PIZZA

An extremely delicious, light, homemade thin crust pizza that everyone will enjoy. This all-time family favorite recipe is made with an homemade dough recipe and three layers of cheese.



INGREDIENTS


For the Dough:

3/4 cup warm water

2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 and 1/2 teaspoon sugar

3/4 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for the bowl

For the topping:

1 cup pizza sauce (homemade/store-bought)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Cheddar cheese



INSTRUCTIONS


In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt and sugar. Next add the warm water and then the olive oil an mix well.

Mix the ingredients until incorporated by using a dough hook fitted hand or stand mixer, the dough should be pulling away from the bowl. Add more flour if required.


Move the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover and let it rest until doubled in size about 1 and a half hours.


Once dough has risen, divide the dough in to halves. Roll each half into your desired shape and gently transfer to your pizza pan. Use a fork to prick to the dough all around.


Preheat oven to 220 degree celsius.


Top the dough with the pizza sauce followed by three cheese types. Spread the mixture evenly on the pizza dough and cover the pizza base well.


Bake for 15 minutes or until done. Slice and serve immediately.
